The Encyclopedia of Extinct Animals is an extra that appears in almost every volume where Mariya begins to explain and talk about the extinct animals that have appeared in the series, where he talks about any extra tibbits. This extra is used to give detail and information on animals outside of what they displayed they can do in the manga and simply explains general information on the animal, like why they went extinct, the environment they live in or even stories and myths about them.
